Veronika Skuplik is an internationally renowned violinist who primarily plays in solo ensembles such as Concerto Palatino, Weser-Renaissance Bremen and the Consort La Dolcezza as well as with her duo partners Andreas Arend (lute) and Jörg Jacobi (organ). She teaches baroque violin and viola as well as ensemble playing at the Hochschule der Künste in Bremen and gives masterclasses in Europe and the USA. She is also a lecturer for the European Hanse Ensemble and in the studios of the Bremen Music Festival. Her discography includes 120 CDs, some of which have won awards, including five of her own productions.
She has also founded another ensemble, "UrgentMusic".
