General information

Pupils receive approximately a 50% discount on the ticket price.

Persons with a disabled person’s pass (from 50 GbB) also receive approximately a 50% discount on the ticket price. This discount also applies to an accompanying person if they have the ‘B’ sign.

It is possible to purchase a festival pass for €130. The pass is limited to 50 copies. It entitles you to attend all concerts in the stables (6 concerts) and the two organ concerts in the Stade churches of St Wilhadi and St Cosmae et Damiani. You also have free admission to the lectures and the organ tour.

The concert by harpsichordist Elena Khurgina in the Baroque Hall of the castle is not included due to the limited number of seats.

The festival pass is non-transferable and must be presented at the entrance.

It is possible to purchase a children’s pass for the Family Day on Saturday, March 29, 2025. The children’s pass costs €19 and allows children to take part in the ‘Organ building’, ‘Lapbook’, ‘Hands-on history’ and ‘Photo activity’ workshops. Registration for the respective workshop must be made in advance, as the number of participants is limited. The children’s pass is non-transferable and must be presented when registering for the workshop and at the entrance.

Our venues are historic buildings. The two churches St. Wilhadi and St. Cosmae et Damiani in Stade are barrier-free accessible through the side entrance.

Schloss Agathenburg has a comfortable elevator that provides barrier-free access to every room in the building. The stables on the castle grounds are also barrier-free, except for the final concert on March 30, 2025, where we kindly ask you to contact us in advance, as the stables are not barrier-free due to special stage modifications. Access to the concert will be organized for you by our staff.

The small store in the foyer of Schloss Agathenburg is a place for browsing and browsing. Here you will find CD recordings by our artists as well as a wide range of merchandise: from T-shirts to umbrellas. There is also a carefully selected range of books on the subject of music, as well as exciting things for children to listen to, read and play.

FAQs on buying tickets

If there are no more tickets available for a desired event, you can register on the waiting list at the ticket office. We will contact you by telephone or e-mail if we can fulfill your ticket request at short notice.

There is no entitlement to ticket returns or exchanges of paid concert tickets – including due to program/cast changes. Tickets purchased will only be refunded if the concert is canceled by the organizer.

Information on attending the concert

The box office opens one hour before the performance begins. Tickets reserved at short notice must be collected up to 30 minutes before the start of the performance, after which they go back on sale. Late admission after the start of the concert is only possible during the concert breaks.

Payment can be made in cash, by debit or credit card at the ticket office and at the box office. Due to local conditions, only cash payment is possible in the churches.

Please note that some of our venues differ from modern concert halls in terms of acoustics, climate and construction. This applies in particular to the former stables on the castle grounds, which exude a special rustic atmosphere and charm thanks to their wooden floorboards, preserved cribs and half-timbered supports. Viewing restrictions may occur due to the pillars, which do not entitle you to ticket returns or discounts.

A checkroom is available both in Agathenburg Castle and in the stables. Please note that larger bags and rucksacks must be deposited there and may not be taken into the concert hall or event room.

Private image, sound and video recordings of any kind are prohibited during the performance. By purchasing tickets, all visitors declare their consent to image and/or sound recordings as well as live stream video transmissions of their person during an event. The organizer may use the material without any claim to remuneration.

Vor den Konzerten und in den Pausen werden im Pferdestall und im Schloss Getränke und kleine Snacks angeboten. It is forbidden to bring food and drink into the concert halls and churches.
