Accessibility
Our ticket office staff will be happy to provide you with information on the accessibility of our venues, local conditions and discounts in person, by telephone or by e-mail.
Our venues are historic buildings. The churches St. Wilhadi and St. Cosmae et Damiani in Stade, St. Mauritius in Hollern, and St. Martini et Nicolai in Steinkirchen are all accessible for visitors with disabilities.
Schloss Agathenburg is equipped with a convenient elevator, providing barrier-free access to all areas of the castle. The Pferdestall on the castle grounds is also wheelchair accessible. However, for the concert on April 25, 2026, we kindly ask you to contact us in advance, as special stage modifications will make the Pferdestall temporarily inaccessible. Our staff will ensure that access to the concert is arranged for you.
They help us to ensure that you, our guests, have a smooth and relaxed concert experience.
Store at Schloss Agathenburg
The small shop in the foyer of Schloss Agathenburg is a place to browse and discover. In addition to CDs by our artists, you’ll find a diverse selection of merchandise. The shop also offers a carefully curated range of books on music, as well as engaging items for children to listen to, read, and play with.
FAQs on buying tickets

If tickets for your desired event are no longer available, you have the option to join the waiting list at the ticket office. We will contact you by phone or email should tickets become available and your request can be fulfilled at short notice.
Can I exchange or return purchased tickets?
There is no entitlement to ticket returns or exchanges of paid concert tickets – including due to program/cast changes. Tickets purchased will only be refunded if the concert is canceled by the organizer.
Information on attending the concert
Box Office and Entrance
The box office opens one hour before the performance begins. Tickets reserved at short notice must be collected up to 30 minutes before the start of the performance, after which they go back on sale. Late admission after the start of the concert is only possible during the concert breaks.
Payment can be made in cash, by debit or credit card at the ticket office and at the box office. Due to local conditions, only cash payment is possible in the churches.
Special features of the venues
Please note that some of our venues differ from modern concert halls in terms of acoustics, climate and construction. This applies in particular to the former stables on the castle grounds, which exude a special rustic atmosphere and charm thanks to their wooden floorboards, preserved cribs and half-timbered supports. Viewing restrictions may occur due to the pillars, which do not entitle you to ticket returns or discounts.
Wardrobe
A checkroom is available both in Agathenburg Castle and in the stables. Please note that larger bags and rucksacks must be deposited there and may not be taken into the concert hall or event room.
Image and Sound recordings
Private image, sound and video recordings of any kind are prohibited during the performance. By purchasing tickets, all visitors declare their consent to image and/or sound recordings as well as live stream video transmissions of their person during an event. The organizer may use the material without any claim to remuneration.
Catering
Vor den Konzerten und in den Pausen werden im Pferdestall und im Schloss Getränke und kleine Snacks angeboten. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, a food truck will be available on the castle grounds. Please note that bringing food and beverages into the concert halls and churches is not permitted.
