Josephine Mücksch

Josephine Mücksch is a pianist and music educator who teaches at the Ludwigshafen Municipal Music School. She pursued her studies in piano and music education in Lübeck, Strasbourg, and Freiburg. Alongside her teaching responsibilities, she is actively engaged in scientific instrumental pedagogy and, as a board member of the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA), she advocates for innovations in piano pedagogy.
In the podcast Generation Einheit, she collaborates with two musicians to explore the role of music education in our society and its potential to reinforce the values of social cohesion. At the intersection of art, science, education, and social commitment, Josephine Mücksch has made it her mission in recent years to provide children and young people with access to music. She develops programmes that convey classical music in a socially relevant manner, creating opportunities for participation.
