Maria Carrasco Gil

Maria Carrasco Gil began her musical training at the age of eight and completed her violin studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón in 2012. Her interest in early music led her to Bremen, where she studied baroque violin with Veronika Skuplik at the Hochschule für Künste. She is currently studying for a master's degree with Professor Midori Sailer at the Folkwang School of the Arts in Essen.

She is a co-founder of two ensembles: Marsyas Baroque and I Zefirelli, with whom she develops new projects. Both ensembles have won prizes in European competitions and are sponsored by renowned institutions. She has participated in radio and television recordings and has performed in the most important concert halls in Europe and at many festivals.
